Taylor Momsen only 16 and she smoke
You’ll have to take my word for it when I tell you that I am not old. But believe me, I’m not. However when I look at many of the young stars today I feel as though I’m on the verge of taking up crochet and spying on my neighbors.
A week after having to hear more about Miley Cyrus’ crotch than anyone should in their lifetime, it was brought to my attention that 16-year old Taylor Momsen was seen lighting up a cigarette on stage.
The Gossip Girl star was performing with her band, “Pretty Reckless” in California when she was photographed taking a smoke break. By law, people need to be at least 18 to smoke in the state of California.
First, WTF?
And second, where are this girl’s parents? How was she not sent immediately to her room and grounded for a month?
(I was once mortified when my parents dragged me home from a friend’s house party when I was 16 for being late for curfew – imagine how much more embarrassing it would be to endure having your MOM come onstage and declare you grounded at your ROCK CONCERT??! Taylor totally deserves it…)
Despite being blasted by several anti-smoking campaigns and officials at Britain’s Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) as Wonderwall reports, the teenager has been seen around town smoking cigarettes, or carrying a pack with her. You know, because she’s like sooooooo rock and roll.
And don’t even get me started on her apparent allergic reaction to pants! Ugh. Clearly what she’s lacking in sense she makes up for in eye make-up.
