Need yet another reason to kick the cigarette habit? If you can’t do it for yourself, do it for your kids.
I think we’re all aware by now of how dangerous cigarettes are to those who smoke them. And if you think just smoking one (or two, or three) a day is safe, you’re wrong. The U.S. Surgeon General released a report last month stating that even one cigarette — even one — is bad for your health.

Smoke-free zones planned in schools and colleges

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government on Thursday launched a drive to create awareness of smoke free zones in educational institutions. As part of the campaign government officials launched a crackdown on shops selling cigarettes to consumers below 18 years and vowed to take action against those trading tobacco products within 100 yards of the campus. Mohammad Rizal, from the Southeast Asian country’s Musi Banyuasin province, said his son Rizal is hooked on tobacco after having his first cigarette at just 18 months old.But Rizal said he is unfazed by his son’s smoking habit. This is very dangerous for a child’s health.
