Madonna’s Kid Lourdes Sports Marijuana Design
Is Madonna’s would-be fashionista daughter Lourdes, to paraphrase one of her mother’s hits, into the doob? The 13-year-old, who helped Mom launch the cleverly-titled Material Girl fashion line for teenagers earlier this month, has been spotted wearing a Rastafarian-inspired wristband featuring the silhouette of what appears to be a marijuana plant.
The photo, appearing on RadarOnline, also shows the self-defined “Lola” with either a stud in her lip or blowing a saliva bubble, and generally looking about as intelligent as you’d expect.
The picture in question does seem to have a few too many leaves to actually be a marijuana plant, but the Rastas have been known to indulge in the herb now an’ again, mon. Whether wearing this thing is a signal that Lourdes is indeed a midnight toker, or simply thinks Rastafarian culture is “way cool, yo,” in the culturally imperialistic way of Mom, remains unknown, at least for now; if such things seem to have a positive effect on Material Girl sales, then expect her to start wearing bongs as earrings within the week.
