Neeson blames movie role for renewed smoking habit
Schindler’s List star Liam Neeson’s has blamed his role as cigar-puffing Hannibal Smith in The A Team movie remake for forcing him to begin smoking again after quitting 16 years ago.
The 58-year-old actor believes that smoking on camera has caused him to resurrect his old nicotine habit, reported Contactmusic. “I stopped smoking 16 years ago so it was a real issue for this movie. The props guys got me these amazing fake Cuban cigars but then I was given real ones. I said, ‘I can’t do this I’m an addict’,” said Neeson.

US pop queen Katy Perry is planning drastic measures to halt her ongoing cigarette addiction, claims the UK’s Daily Mirror newspaper. Perry has reportedly been smoking more than ever as her wedding to British comedian Russell Brand draws nearer, but she is now planning hypnotherapy to stop the habit before it damages her voice.According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the singer said: ‘I’m stressed out with the wedding and I keep smoking to calm my nerves. I do it even though I know it is really bad for me and I know I need to stop. ‘So I’m thinking I am going to have hypnotherapy to help me get over it. I’d never say to kids, ‘This is cool’. It’s a really bad habit that I need to quit.’
