Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father has launched a desperate attempt to stop his troubled daughter from smoking while she is struggling to give up drugs in court-ordered rehab.
Michael Lohan has been banned from visiting his daughter at the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California but that hasn’t stopped him from trying to get his anti-smoking message across, Contactmusic reported.

WASHINGTON — A top White House adviser says President Barack Obama and the leading House Republican would be good role models if both quit smoking, but he’s leaving hazy whether the two would work together on such a campaign.
